ISE 2024 attracted 73,891 unique verified attendees from 162 countries

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), an annual technology and digital signage exhibition has opened in Barcelona. The event is taking place until February 7th, bringing together key players from across various sectors.

With over 1,500 technology companies exhibiting and at least 70,000 attendees expected to visit, a range of major digital signage companies have used the trade show as a chance to unveil new solutions to the market.

We round up a selection of highlights that you can find at the ISE 2025 event.

LG’s Latest Signage Solutions

LG Electronics is unveiling its latest digital signage innovations at the Barcelona trade show.

Chief among the products being showcased is LG’s AI-powered Kinetic LED, a “gigantic shapeshifting” LED display.

The screen, composed of 88 connected LED panels, measures 7,180 x 4,090mm. Combining LEDs and mirrors, the cube-shaped modules that make up the Kinetic LED can rotate 360 degrees horizontally to create dynamic movements.

Visitors to LG’s booth can participate in an AI-powered “image transformation” experience with the Kinetic LED. After they’ve taken a photo with their smartphone and uploaded it via scanning the provided QR code, their picture is transformed by LG’s generative AI into a ‘pop art’ image, which is then displayed on the Kinetic LED. The interactive feature, developed by LG with solution partner, Easywith, invites direct participation from audiences.

LG is also introducing upgrades to its high-brightness outdoor signage, designed with the company’s own ‘anti-discoloration’ technology.

On show to the public for the first time, the technology helps to protect LG’s high-brightness signage for outdoor spaces against the negative impacts of screen-yellowing, a common issue caused by prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

In 2024, LG’s Anti-Discoloration technology became the first solution of its kind to receive verification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a global standards and testing organisation.

To highlight the technology, LG has set up a number of simulated outdoor environments within its ISE booth such as a bus stop, sports stadium, and a drive-through restaurant.

Finally, LG will showcase upgrades to its MAGNIT micro LED displays. The upgrades aim to improve ease of installation, content compatibility, and energy efficiency.

The new design allows installers to adjust the spaces between LED modules from the rear of the display, a task that could only be performed from the front on previous models.

Compatibility with content controllers has been enhanced to ensure optimal colours and image quality, while standby power consumption has been reduced by up to 98% compared to earlier models, significantly improving overall energy efficiency.

LG’s new micro-LED technology, including the newest MAGNIT solutions, can be found in ISE’s dedicated LED Tech Zone.

LG can be found on Booth 3K100.

A Range of Releases from Panasonic

Technology manufacturer, Panasonic, has used ISE 2025 to announce a full range of new solutions, with sustainability and efficiency as a core focus.

Panasonic’s latest announcements include its latest 4K PTZ camera, which comes with a built-in auto-tracking and IP-based video transmission. It has also announced its most energy efficient series of 8,000-lumen LCD projectors to-date, as well as new software for its ET-FMP50 Series of media processors which enables operators to control large-scale, multiple-projector immersive experiences.

Chief of interest for the digital signage sector is the announcement of an expanded line-up of Intel SDM-enabled LED displays.

Panasonic’s three new LED displays, which will be publicly available from Q2 of 2025, are available in 165-inch, 137-inch, and 110-inch models.

They are the first LED displays to feature dual Intel SDM slots, allowing for AVoIP integration with various proprietary or third-party function boards. The feature is designed to enable increased communication and collaboration between multiple devices in different locations.

The new all-in-one LED displays have been made to be lighter and thinner than previous models, in order to increase installation flexibility. The screens feature a brightness of up to 700 cd/m2 and a pixel pitch of up to 1.9mm, reportedly displaying high-quality images with no colour deviation, even in bright environments.

The displays have also been designed to allow for easy configuration and use out-of-the-box. They are shipped semi-assembled, with mounting hardware included, and can be easily installed and used with a HDMI cable.

Panasonic can be found at Booth 3J500.

Philips Release Three Outdoor Displays

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has used ISE to announce the extension of its outdoor display range.

The company has announced the release of its new Philips Urban LED 5000, 6000, and 7000 Series, which is being showcased for the first time at ISE 2025.

The new outdoor display series aims to provide a total LED display offering for open air sports venues, such as sports stadiums, while also supporting a broader range of markets, including bus stations, airports, casinos, public venues, and digital out-of-home (DOOH).

This extension of the Philips Urban LED series comes 12 months after PPDS confirmed its entry into the outdoor dvLED market, with its debut offering being immediately selected for use by FC Barcelona upon release.

Martijn van der Woude, vice president of global marketing and business development at PPDS, comments: “At ISE 2024, we dipped our toes in the outdoor display market for the first time. At ISE 2025, with the Philips Urban LED 5000, 6000 and 7000 Series, we are now making some serious waves.

“Combined with our existing indoor offering of multi award-winning Philips digital signage and LED, we now have what we and our global partners agree is the most complete and most versatile offering in the current market, capable of supporting all indoor and now outdoor ambitions.”

The new series will be showcased for the first time by Philips’ on Booth 3P500.

Sony’s New Remote Device Manager

To enhance its BRAVIA Professional Display line-up, Sony has announced the launch of a new cloud-based provisioning, control, and monitoring service, the Remote Device Manager (RDM).

RDM, which is compatible and available on all BRAVIA BZ-H, BZ-J and BZ-L models, will deliver new features for control and monitoring including the ability to remotely update software, monitor the status of multiple displays, detect abnormal states, and capture screenshots.

RDM aims to save time and money for integrators and end customers during installation, operation, and troubleshooting.

Each profile can include existing CMS apps to deploy pro-settings or general display settings, which can then be deployed by scanning a QR code.

Explaining the new solution in more detail, Chris Mullins, head of BRAVIA and Projector marketing, Sony Professional Displays and Solutions Europe, says: “To further futureproof our display solution for customers, the introduction of RDM will not only enable users to be able to deploy and set up hundreds of screens simply and quickly, but also facilitate enhanced control and troubleshooting.”

“This solution allows you to pre-define multiple BRAVIA configuration profiles for your various display use cases across your deployment, such as a signage or meeting room display.”

Those wishing to find out more and experience live demonstrations of RDM can visit the Sony booth at ISE at Booth 3E300.

Nsign People and Applets from nsign.tv

Nsign.tv, a software as a service (SaaS) platform designed to simplify the complexities of digital signage, has announced the release of its latest feature of its centrak management system (CMS), Nsign People.

The feature enables businesses to measure the effectiveness of their communications in physical spaces through facial detection software. With capabilities such as audience measurement and content interaction, Nsign People is designed to enhance content personalisation and allow users to evaluate sales impact and ROI.

Visitors to nsign.tv’s booth at ISE will also be introduced to the company’s Applets micro applications software, which aims to provide a scalable, ready-to-use solution that meets a wide range of digital signage network needs.

The software, which is integrated within the Nsign CMS, can automate digital content creation by pulling real-time data from other systems, enabling the generation of dynamic and scalable content for any screen.

Toni Viñals, chief executive officer of nsign.tv, says: “Content management in digital signage can often feel chaotic. With our Applets, that chaos is eliminated. We simplify management, centralise control, and streamline automation, helping our clients turn complexity into clarity and efficiency.”

Nsign.tv will be available to demonstrate its solutions at Booth 4H440.

Audiocast from DENEVA

Signage software company, DENEVA, has used the trade show to announce the launch of AudioCast, a solution designed to revolutionise the audio experience in digital signage systems.

AudioCast enables the audio from digital signage players to be streamed directly to users' mobile devices. By scanning a QR code displayed on the signage screen, users can then listen to prepared audio content on their phones.

The software is integrated with DENEVA's digital signage systems, which reportedly ensures seamless synchronisation between audio and on-screen visual content. Users of the technology can also select their preferred audio language.

The solution is designed to offer a wireless and interactive experience, particularly for public environments such as screens located in store windows or within retail spaces to provide supplementary information.

Other applications suggested by DENEVA are for museums, trade fairs, and other events where user interaction with content is of high importance. AudioCast also provides benefits for the visually impaired, enabling direct access to auditory content which can remove interaction barriers.

The technology is currently being showcased on Booth 4G100.
