The newly launched Creative Interior Awards will recognise excellence across the commercial interiors sector with 18 categories up for grabs

The commercial interiors industry has a new awards platform to honour its achievements with the launch of the Creative Interiors Awards.
The awards platform is organised by the team behind the Creative Retail Awards, the Shop & Display Equipment Association (SDEA) and 365 Retail, along with the National Association of Shopfitters and Interior Contractors (NAS).
The awards aim to recognise excellence in design, innovation, and craftsmanship across the commercial interiors sector.
Awards in 18 categories will be on offer, with three core award groups or ‘pillars’ being: Products, Projects, and People. Award categories will include Material Innovation, Lighting, Retail, and Workspace.
The award categories have reportedly been chosen to reflect a “comprehensive approach [that] ensures that all facets of commercial interiors are recognised and celebrated”, according to the organisers.
The Creative Interiors Awards will culminate in an awards ceremony in May 2026 in London, where the winners will be announced.
To mark the launch of the awards, a celebratory event will be held at Dirty Martini Monument in London on March 27th, 2025.
Industry professionals in the sector have been invited to attend an evening of networking and celebration. Registration for the launch party is now open and can be completed at the Creative Interior Awards website.
In an announcement on social media, NAS said: “These new awards will recognise and celebrate the very best in commercial interiors, highlighting the innovation, craftsmanship, and expertise that shape inspiring spaces.
“With 18 award categories covering Products, Projects, and People, the awards will shine a spotlight on everything from lighting and material innovation to retail and workspace design. This is a platform for our industry to showcase its talent and creativity.”
Entries for the concurrent Creative Retail Awards 2025 are still open, with entries closing on March 31st. The awards ceremony, now in its seventh year, aims to bring together industry leaders to celebrate the best in retail, leisure, and hospitality design and display.
This year's Creative Retail Awards feature new categories and a revamped website and application process. Winners will be announced in a live event in London in September 2025, with the venue due to be announced.
