Two new HP Latex printers launched to market
HP has announced the release of the HP Latex 730 and 830 printers at this year’s ISA Sign Expo, offering an arsenal of new features and enhancements in comparison to previous models
The event is described as an “unparalleled experience” for Europe’s digital signage community
Digital Signage Summit Europe (DSS Europe), an event co-hosted by invidis and Integrated Systems Events, will be taking place next week at the Hilton Munich Airport from May 22nd to May 23rd.
The event is aimed at the digital signage and digital out-of-home (DOOH) industries and offers a range of attractions and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
DSS Europe also offers a networking drinks reception sponsored by Google Chrome OS on the evening of May 21st and an evening beer garden event at the conclusion of the first day.
The exhibition area will give attendees access to new technology from brands such as AMERICA, AXIOMTEK, Concept, Dynascan, iiyama, Novisign, Samsung, Sharp/NEC, and Vanguard.
DSS Europe is also acting as an opportunity to introduce the invidis Digital Signage Compass, a vendor-neutral tool designed to simplify CMS selection and offer a resource of information in a “fragmented market”.
Also being showcased will be the invidis Yearbook, a resource which focuses on signage and software with useful background information and rankings.
Florian Rotberg, managing director of invidis and chair of DSS Europe, says: "As the continent's foremost digital signage conference, we've curated a lineup of industry heavyweights and rising stars poised to share their observations and experiences."
"From exploring groundbreaking software advancements to delving into the burgeoning opportunities within the retail media and DOOH sectors, our agenda is packed with discussions vital for staying ahead in this dynamic industry."
A large focus will also be placed on retail, with a thematic block titled “What’s in Store for Retail Media?”
Rotberg adds: "There is a gold-rush atmosphere in the retail media industry. However, it is not always easy to distinguish between hype and real future viability, especially in-store. It is precisely this differentiation that we want to achieve at DSS Europe and discuss the opportunities and risks of retail media using expert talks and best practice examples from Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and SPAR, among others."
The event will also hold its third invidis Strategy Awards which will recognise individuals and organisations for sustained, long-term contributions to the digital signage industry. The awards will be judged by experts in the invidis advisory team who will choose disruptors in the industry as winners.
