The Print Show, a dedicated event for the UK print industry, has announced that this year’s exhibition will play host to many big brands in the global print industry.

Taking place from September 17th to 19th in Hall 17 of the NEC in Birmingham, The Print Show 2024 will welcome visitors from all corners of the UK print sector, as well as other markets with links to the industry.

As ever, the show will offer visitors the chance to view some of the latest printing and finishing equipment, as well as materials, consumables, and supporting technologies such as software.

In addition, visitors can access free-to-attend speaker sessions at the Knowledge Zone, with this year’s programme packed with informative and thought-provoking sessions featuring speakers from a wide range of markets.

The 2024 event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. The floorplan is now more than 80% full with just over three months to go until doors open at the NEC.

Manufacturers that have already committed include large names in global print such as Agfa, swissQprint, Fujifilm, and Vivid Laminating Technologies.

Agfa set for The Print Show debut

Agfa will be exhibiting at The Print Show for the first time, with those in attendance able to view leading technologies. Visitors can also speak with knowledgeable experts about some of the latest releases from Agfa, including its three new inkjet machines - the Jeti Condor RTR5200 HS, the Jeti Bronco H3300 S, and the Anapurna Ciervo H3200 - that launched in March.

“We are very excited to come to the UK for a local UK show,” says Mike Horsten, senior president PR manager for Agfa. “It is going to be an opportunity for people to talk to us at The Print Show, look at the samples, and the quality of output that we are producing.

“Agfa hasn’t done any shows in the UK in recent times so this is the right place and the right moment.”

CMYUK to showcase leading brands

Another major name to confirm its presence at the 2024 event is the UK’s largest supplier of wide-format digital printers, cutters, and materials, CMYUK.

Exhibiting for the first time since 2017, CMYUK will demonstrate the Canon Colorado M5W 1.6m-wide modular and configurable printer featuring Canon’s own UV Gel technology as well as the JWEI JCUT 1625 digital cutting table, and Fiery Prep-it software.

Sue Hayward, commercial director of CMYUK, says: “We are delighted to support this year’s Print Show, the most significant and best-attended print industry event in the UK. Our participation underscores the event’s theme of ‘Print Without Barriers’, a perfect reflection of the exceptional Canon Colorado M Series, the positive disruption of the JWEI JCUT digital cutting tables, and the innovative benefits of the Fiery Prep-it software.”

Andrew Day, Large Format Graphics – channel manager at Canon UK, adds: “It’s truly amazing to have partners such as CYMUK, showcasing our technology at the biggest print trade event in the UK.”

Specialists from Sheppex Asset Finance will be on hand on the CMYUK stand where they will be advising visitors throughout the show on the best funding options when investing in new technology.

Also exhibiting this September is swissQprint, which has already revealed that it will be showcasing its UV LED Kudu, the 3.2 x 2m high-end flatbed model. This will be the first time that industry members will be able to see the machine in action at a UK event.

Meanwhile, Fujifilm will be making a welcome return to The Print Show after a hugely successful debut at last year’s event. Based on a 240sq m stand, Fujifilm will invite visitors to learn more about its wide range of leading technologies.
