Aura Brand Solutions welcomed its local MP to a behind-the-scenes tour of its headquarters, which included discussions about the challenges facing local businesses in the UK

Aura Brand Solutions welcomed its local member of parliament (MP) to an exclusive tour of its Lowestoft headquarters and production centre, with the aim of providing a platform to discuss the future of UK manufacturing.

The signage and graphics company invited Jess Asato, MP for Lowestoft, to a behind-the-scenes tour led by Aura’s customer services director, Emma Cranfield, and operations director, Neil Brookfield, which included demonstrations of Aura’s recently upgraded printing facilities, and its zero waste to landfill policy.

After receiving a demonstrations from experts at Aura, Asato had the opportunity to experience sign-making skills first-hand, weeding her own name with graphics provided by the company.

Asato also engaged in a discussion with the Aura leadership team around the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses, which highlighted the role local businesses have in supporting their communities and driving improvements within their respective towns.

Following the visit, Asato said: “Aura Brand Solutions is a real Lowestoft success story, supplying the national brands we all know and love, and it was fantastic to meet the talented team whose specialist skills are powering innovation right here in the heart of Kirkley.

“They are pioneers in their own right, showing what local manufacturing can achieve with ambition and expertise. I’ll continue to do everything I can to support them and other businesses driving opportunity and pride in our town.”

Aura Brand Solutions, which was founded in 1927, reports to be one of Europe's leading commercial graphics and visual communications companies. The company estimates that it wraps over 11,000 vehicles, 2,100 rail carriages, and 1,100 architectural products each year.

Recent work has included the full livery of the ‘Railway 200’ Inspiration train, which was commissioned by Network Rail to commemorate the bicentenary of the modern railway.
