Astley has become one of the first sign-makers to release its Net Zero Roadmap

According to Astley, it has become one of the first sign-makers to publish their Net Zero Roadmap with the goal of becoming net zero by 2040.
The Gateshead-based company is a UK manufacturer that produces solutions for branded environments, supporting well-known brands in the retail and hospitality, FMCG, and leisure sectors.
Having started its net zero journey in 2022, Astley has completed its baseline assessments and has now published its Net Zero Roadmap and decarbonisation strategy.
The roadmap outlines Astley’s strategy to reduce carbon emissions across its operations through the review and development of its manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and awareness training.
Featuring short-term, medium, and long-term objectives, the robust plan aims to address climate change and drive meaningful actions that will contribute to the end goal of becoming net zero by 2040.
In addition to aiding its own goals, the roadmap also enables Astley to support its clients in their own net zero journeys.
Gavin Redhead, managing director of Astley, says: “As a UK manufacturer, we understand the profound impact that businesses like ours can have on the environment and our duty in taking considerable steps towards reducing our carbon footprint.
“Our Net Zero Roadmap reflects our unwavering commitment to sustainability and serves as a blueprint for driving meaningful actions that will contribute to the end goal of becoming net zero by 2040.”
