The Sign & Wrap Awards recognises achievements in 16 categories including Sustainability in Signage and Signage Company of the Year

The Sign & Wrap Awards, which highlights the work of sign-makers and vinyl wrapping professionals from UK and Ireland, is closing entries soon.

Entries for the 2025 edition of the awards show, which is free to enter, will close on January 28th at 5pm.

The awards show and gala dinner will take place on March 25th in Birmingham, with the exact location of the event set to be announced in due course.

Companies that are interested in entering can apply for a maximum of six categories, with one entry per category.

There are 14 company categories up for grabs this year including Illuminated Sign, Interior Décor, Wayfinding Scheme, and Traditional Sign.

Four of the company awards are for the vehicle wrapping sector including an ‘Out of the Ordinary’ category for all forms of vehicles excluding cars and vans.

Two companies will also be recognised as Signage Company of the Year, with separate categories for those with under 30 and over 30 employees.

There are two further awards for individuals within the signage industry, namely the Industry Champion award for a key contributor to the signage industry and the Young Signmaker award highlighting the sign-making work of an apprentice.

The awards show was first launched as the Sign Awards in 2023, changing to Sign & Wrap Awards for the 2024 edition due to the high demand for categories that recognised achievements in the vehicle wrapping sector.

Speaking on LinkedIn about the awards, Dan Tyler, founder of the Sign & Wrap Awards, says: “One of the things I love about these awards is that they are judged anonymously and on merit, which means it really can be anybody's win.

“We've seen one-man bands compete against big national companies and win, and every year we see such a broad mix of skill and talent. Entry to the awards doesn't cost a penny, and every year winners tell us how it's boosted morale and helped win new business.”

The team behind the Sign & Wrap Awards also host the yearly UK Graphic Awards, which recognises and celebrates the talent and creativity of the wide-format print sector.

The last UK Graphic Awards, which was its fourth edition, took place on October 15th, 2024, at a new venue in the Hilton Metropole hotel in Birmingham.

ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson returned to direct proceedings and guests were also treated to a live band after the awards were presented.

The organising team, who are based in Ukraine, also work for print management software company, Vantage. Each year both awards shows engage in fundraising efforts for the war in Ukraine, with a silent auction taking place at this year’s Sign & Wrap Awards.

Those interested in applying for the awards have been encouraged to apply on the event’s official website.
