Vistar Media has launched an online learning platform to the EMEA region, providing free training and certification for the digital out-of-home industry

Out-of-home (OOH) technology provider, Vistar Media, has announced the expansion of its Vistar Academy online learning platform to the EMEA region.
The Vistar Academy provides free professional training and certification programmes for the digital out-of-home (DOOH) industry to marketers, media owners, and advertising professionals.
The platform, which is designed for both industry newcomers and experts, provides self-paced courses and certifications that cover the fundamentals of DOOH, including how programmatic technology can enable data-driven targeting, dynamic advertising, and automated buying.
Learners using Vistar Academy can also gain practical knowledge to plan, sell, or integrate DOOH into a broader marketing strategy, with courses structured around real-world scenarios and best practices.
The educational resource aims to promote the wider adoption of programmatic DOOH within the advertising sector. Since its US debut in August 2023, Vistar Academy has drawn nearly 5,000 users and issued over 2,600 certifications.

Vistar recently announced a partnership with geomarketing data specialists, Spotzi, to provide a unified source for its clients to collect data on OOH campaigns across international regions.
Spotzi’s AI-powered OOH planning tool combines foot traffic data with a range of visitor insights, including calculating the age bracket of those who view the campaign and the demographics living in areas near a billboard.
