The Sussex Sign Company will open a vehicle wrapping centre at its new premises in Goddards Green, as part of its 30th anniversary
The Sussex Sign Company has announced the opening of a new vehicle wrapping centre at its recently opened premises in Goddards Green, Burgess Hill.
The expansion, which comes as the signage company marks its 30th anniversary, is a result of the company’s ambition to enhance its offerings in vehicle livery and wrapping, which it sees as an expanding market.
The centre is designed to meet what the company perceives as an increasing demand for high-quality vehicle branding, providing a larger number of businesses with its wrapping services.
Alongside the vehicle wrapping services provided from its head office in Portslade, The Sussex Sign Company now provides dual-site operation to customers across the Sussex region.
The signage company is also hoping to invest in additional workshop space in 2025, adding 92sq m to its production warehouse to improve its vehicle wrapping and premium signage offerings.
Norman Mayhew, founder of The Sussex Sign Company, recently spoke to SignLink as part of a Company Spotlight feature for its bi-monthly magazine.
Speaking to David Osgar, Mayhew said: “Having started The Sussex Sign Company as a young man, now, as I enter the autumn of my career, I take great pleasure in driving around Sussex and seeing the lasting impact of our work.
“There’s one sign I personally fitted 18 years ago that I pass every day on my way home, and it still looks great. Knowing that my business is leaving a lasting legacy across Sussex fills me with immense pride.”
Speaking of a long-term wrapping project that the company has undertaken for 25 years, Mayhew continues: “We sign-wrote its very first van and have continued to sign-write every vehicle in its fleet since – they now have 42 vehicles, and we estimate we’ve sign-written over 200 vans for them in total.”
The company was recently recognised at the UK Graphic Awards, winning Gold in the Roll-Out award thanks to a project for Paxton Access, a manufacturer of access control systems.
