Sign7 has debuted with its first video featuring our discussion with Make it Happen
Formerly known as Sign7News, Sign7 has launched to update the look and feel of the well-known video news series.
After over ten years of updating the signage industry on the biggest stories impacting businesses and individuals in signage and its associated industries, the video platform has been revamped to meet the expectations of today’s news coverage.
After changing appearance and taking many different forms over the years, the team at SignLink are excited to focus their efforts on the businesses, topics, and events that shape the world of signage and wide-format print.
Editor at SignLink, Carys Evans, says: “It’s really exciting to be bringing a new look and format to our popular video platform, giving more ways for our audience to digest the industry’s news in whichever way they choose. Whether it’s via the news site online, sitting down to enjoy the magazine, or catching up with what your peers have to say in our short and digestible videos.”
The new video format will see Sign7 focus on a different voice and topic within the industry week to week, coinciding with SignLink’s regular trips and news coverage.
With social media and video trends constantly evolving, the new format looks to give viewers the chance to pick and choose the topics they want to see across a variety of platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Evans adds: “With businesses and their employees more on the go than ever, this new video format takes the highlights from product launches, exhibitions, and company visits and puts them into an easy-to-access format generated by our team of trained journalists. I can’t wait to see what people think.”
The premiere video focuses on SignLink’s recent visit to Make it Happen, based in SignFab, Leicester, where we spoke to sustainability consultant, Aimée Davies about how the company is educating the industry on how to gain more work via green credentials.
The video is now live and viewable on YouTube, where viewers can subscribe and expect to see more interviews and news coverage published weekly throughout the year.
