Cardiff based outdoor media company, Route, has announced a new partnership with Smart Outdoor, expanding the business’ digital screen network.
The new partnership means clients of Route will have added access to over 400 screens across the UK. The addition of the Smart Digital Network (SDN) not only bolsters the presence of the Welsh out-of-home (OOH) company but also Route’s clients in Wales and the south west.
The added 400 screens have a weekly average footfall of 20 million and comprise of both large and small format screens in significantly busy footfall areas.
Route sales director, Dean Jones, says: “We’re really excited to be able to offer our clients access to the Smart Digital Network. Through this partnership our clients can now access over 400 screens across the UK through one point of contact, streamlining their advertising buying.”
The SDN was created to help independent media owners compete with large industry players and provide a more streamlined, cost-effective service to media buyers.
Commercial director at SND, Julian Carter, adds: “It’s great to work on this partnership with Route Media. By bringing together independent, forward-thinking businesses, we’re not only able to provide customers with a more cost-effective solution, but also a smarter way to do business.”
The latest collaboration is part of Route’s continued expansion after expanding into new areas in 2022. The OOH company has also recently partnered with the likes of the Scarlets rugby team, and the Principality Child of Wales Awards 2023.
