Make it Happen provides businesses with training in product sales for signage

Sam Armstrong, founder of signage consultancy Make it Happen, is reflecting on a series of announcements at the company which coincides with the company’s seven year anniversary.

Make it Happen’s first workshop called the Education Programme (now The Signage Bootcamp) took place in 2016. February 27th therefore marks Make it Happen’s seven years in business.

This milestone comes ahead of founder Sam Armstrong being shortlisted for an Industry Champion Award at the upcoming UK Sign Awards this month.

With many peers and clients also shortlisted for awards, the evening is set to be a perfect chance for Make it Happen to celebrate its various successes.

Today many businesses routinely send new recruits to Make it Happen to improve their knowledge and further develop the overall workforce.

Armstrong adds: "I'm still listening to the industry and creating more ways to Make it Happen for the clients we support. I love my job and my amazing team because we all share the same drive and passion to 'be the difference.' Seven years may be unlucky for some, but not for us!

Zoe Wilkins-Read has returned to Make it Happen as an account manager

When we celebrate our achievements and birthday at the end of February, preparations will be well underway to unroll even more developments into 2023!"

On-top of the company’s milestones and awards success, Make it Happen has also welcomed back former team member Zoe Wilkins-Read as an account manager to expand product sales.

With 16 years of industry experience, Wilkins-Read comments: “My career has focussed on the sign and print industry. Having seen Make it Happen grow and develop into a successful business, and knowing from experience how great it is to work with them, I jumped at the chance to re-join. I look forward to bringing everything I have learnt from working in other roles back to the company to help it achieve even more success.”

Chief operating officer, Katie Asken, comments: “Zoe is disciplined in procedures and has a keen eye for detail, which are essential qualities for a role in account management. We are confident that our clients will love her and her passion for getting things right the first time. Zoe will be key in ensuring we continue to offer the level of service that has made us 'award winners' for two years on the trot, something we are immensely proud of!"
