EFKA, a manufacturer of aluminium textile frames, has announced the opening of a new production facility in Könnern, Germany.

According to the company, the new location “marks a significant milestone in EFKA’s ongoing growth," aiming to strengthen its position as a trusted partner for textile frame applications across the signage, exhibition, and retail interior industries.

The new German facility is designed to enable EFKA to serve its customers more efficiently, as well as creating opportunities to introduce new products to the EFKA range.

Like EFKA’s other facilities in the Netherlands and the UK, it will focus on producing high-quality aluminium textile frames, both illuminated and non-illuminated and in a variety of sizes.

Ids Boersma, chief executive officer of EFKA, says: “Demand for our products continues to rise, and with this new production facility in Germany, we can further strengthen our position across Europe.

“By producing closer to the German market, we are able to support our customers even better with local production, an extensive product range, large stock, short lead times, and a consistently high level of service.”

Earlier this year, EFKA Frame Solutions UK announced the launch of its new weatherproof outdoor frame range, engineered for long-lasting, all-weather performance and offering both illuminated and non-illuminated profiles.

SignLink also delved into the UK arm of the business earlier this year with an exclusive Company Spotlight feature about its history, its beliefs, and what it hopes to achieve moving forward.
