CMYK Europe appoints service manager following official launch
CMYK Europe, the new branch of wide-format supplier CMYUK, has announced Konrad Zawieska as its new European service manager, as part of the group’s expansion beyond its home market
The OOH media owner has promoted two of its staff to senior positions within the company
City Outdoor Media, an out-of-home (OOH) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) media owner has announced two leadership changes within the company, a move which it sees as reflective of its high standards and strategic growth plans.
Charlie Thorp, who has been serving as the business’ managing director has been promoted to chief executive officer while Tess Thompson has now taken on the role of managing director after working for the company for eight years.
City Outdoor says Thorp has been instrumental in steering the company through successful initiatives and demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and “exceptional leadership qualities”.
Thompson has also been instrumental to the business, being described as an “invaluable asset” after her years of expertise in building sales and client relationships.
Steve Smith, owner of City Outdoor Media, comments: “Watching Tess and Charlie step up into these crucial roles has been a source of immense pride for me. Both have demonstrated unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of our company's vision.
“I have ultimate confidence in their abilities and I am confident they will navigate our company through continued success in the ever-evolving landscape of OOH.”
The company has also appointed Tatiana Papaleo as international sales director meaning she will lead European projects from residencies in Spain and Italy in order to expand City Outdoor’s international sales initiatives.
Papaleo’s background in film and publicity was seen as the perfect background and an opportunity for a fresh new perspective after working for famous names like Jennifer Lopez, Chris Cornell, and Soundgarden.
Smith concludes: “This is an exciting chapter for City Outdoor, Tatiana’s addition to the team marks an exciting milestone as we continue to evolve and expand our reach. The future looks bright, and I am eager to see the positive impact they will all make in their new roles."
