Antalis’ re-pulpable Xanita Print material was used by graphics company, Onward Display, for the signage and wayfinding at the Net Zero Festival 2024

Antalis has revealed how its ‘environmentally responsible’ Xanita Print material was used at the Net Zero Festival 2024.
The festival, which took place in October of 2024, brought together thousands of senior business executives, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and campaigners over two days to explore how companies can work together to accelerate industry transitions to net zero emissions.
Creative wide-format printer, Onward Display, which is located inside London’s Business Design Centre (BDC) where the Net Zero Festival was held, was tasked with producing a variety of signage and wayfinding for visitors as well as stage backdrops, a press wall, and three-dimensional lettering that greeted visitors at the entrance to the exhibition hall.
Onward Display reportedly selected Antalis’ Xanita Print banner material as its substrate of choice, because of its environmental credentials.
The Xanita Print range is a 100% re-pulpable engineered, closed-cell printable fibreboard, manufactured with a corrugated kraft core made of recycled post-consumer kraft boxes.
In addition to being comparatively environmentally friendly, Xanita is designed to be lightweight. It is frequently utilised for decorative and structural applications, including point-of-sale (POS), shop-fit, and exhibition design.
Structures made from Xanita can also be flat-packed, a design feature developed to make the material easier to transport and reuse.
Onward Display project manager, Callum Lagden, comments: “As soon as we showed the client Xanita, they immediately liked it and it fit with their budget.
“From a production perspective, Xanita is easy to use – it’s easy to cut with our CNC machine, it’s possible to produce a wide range of applications from a single sheet, and it produces a high-quality print finish directly to its FSC-certified fresh fibre outer liners.”
Specification consultant at Antalis, Claire White, adds: “Onward Display’s work for the festival was a perfect showcase not only of the company’s skills and talent, but of Xanita’s outstanding properties as a display material and of how its sustainability credentials can support the transition to net zero.”
A series of displays at Kensington Palace were also recently created for an exhibition using Xanita Print.
The walk-through exhibition was designed by Cotswold Printing, a customer of Antalis, for a recent exhibition at Kensington Palace by charity Turning Point. All the display panels and plinths for the exhibition were made from Antalis’ Xanita Print 10mm.
