Coala Interior Film is designed as an inexpensive solution to redecorating interior spaces, and can be applied on surfaces including doors, walls, and furniture

Antalis has announced the introduction of 40 new finishes to its Coala Interior Film range of self-adhesive architectural vinyls.

The vinyl coverings are designed to be adaptable to a range of different surfaces. Applications include the redesigning of office spaces, hotels, business premises, and shops.

The new finishes are part of four new collections, each with specific technical features. The complete range includes over 520 options.

The ‘PVC-Free’ collection is made from polypropylene rather than plastic products, aiming to offer a more environmentally responsible choice without compromising quality or aesthetics. According to the company, the range is “designed to reduce carbon footprint by up to 30%”. The updated collection comes with 15 new finishes, including wood, colour, concrete, and stone finishes.

The High-Resistance collection has 12 new offerings. The collection offers added abrasion resistance, tailored for endurance in high-traffic areas such as worktops, desks, and countertops.

The Exterior collection, which has 11 new finishes added, offers a variety of textures designed to protect against sun damage and rainfall, lasting for up to 20 years according to the company.

Finally, the XL collection, available in 137cm widths, has been expanded with the addition of black and white references.

Mike Collins, product manager at Antalis, says: “Renovating walls, furniture, desks and spaces, rather than replacing, is a sustainable solution that is both quick to do and relatively cost-effective.

“These 40 new aesthetic and high-performance films from the Coala Interior Film range can offer solutions for the most demanding interior and exterior design projects.”

Antalis has introduced a range of new innovations in 2024, including PVC-free recycled banners, PVC film, and pre-magnetised paper.

Of the new product launches was Image Magnet, a ready-to-use, pre-magnetised paper that can be printed on HP Indigo and selected dry toner devices.

Available in SRA3, SRA3+, and B2 sizes, the sheets require no port-print magnetisation processes, and the grey backing sticks to any ferrous surface.

Recently Antalis has continued to expand its wide-format print solutions, such as the purchase of Poitoo Adhésifs, a French supplier of consumables and equipment for wide-format media, with the goal of broadening its product portfolio and strengthening its market presence in France.

Poitoo Adhésifs, which operated for almost 30 years, had a turnover of €16.5m (£13.7m) in 2022 and boasted over 3,000 active customers at the time of purchase.
