Antalis has introduced a range of new innovations in recent months from PVC-free recycled banners to PVC film and pre-magnetised paper.
One of the recent launches is Image Magnet, a ready-to-use, pre-magnetised paper that can be printed on HP Indigo and selected dry toner devices.
Available in SRA3, SRA3+, and B2 sizes, the sheets require no port-print magnetisation processes, and the grey backing sticks to any ferrous surface.
Available in 770g/m2/360 microns, the solution is ideal for business communication media including point of purchase displays, store graphics, event promotions, product promotions, warning signs, and for temporary/removable signage.

Paul Savill, product manager at Antalis, comments: “We’re committed to evolving our digital specialities portfolio to offer our customers the best and most innovative substrates on the market to help them diversify, grow, and develop their businesses.
“This latest addition to the range, Image Magnet, is a versatile product suitable for such a wide range of internal applications – a quick and easy solution for printers. We can provide free sample sheets so printers can see for themselves the possibilities and opportunities this new product brings.”
Another new product introduced by Antalis is the new generation of Coala MagForce, a magnetic PVC film that is also VOC-free (a+) and formaldehyde-free.
This solution is a printable magnetic PVC, matt white, consisting of a laminated PVC face film on a brown magnetic base.

Despite being thinner and lighter, Antalis says Coala MagForce has a stronger force than equivalent gauges of traditional magnetic films. It is also said to roll out flatter and is easier to handle.
This flexibility provides a smoother printer feed and makes the solution easier to cut and mount onto slightly curved surfaces.
Mike Collins, product manager at Antalis, says: “The new Coala MagForce range is a new addition to our trusted Coala portfolio and is a product that is both versatile and increasing in popularity for POS [point of sale] and vehicle use. It’s thinner and more lightweight, giving benefits that printers will appreciate such as less material usage.”
Antalis has also introduced a new PVC-free, recycled banner in the form of Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled.
This solution is manufactured in Europe with post-industrial waste and is recycled in polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) waste streams.

Comprising 500mic/490gsm banner materials, two options are available within the new range. The first is Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled double-sided banner which is coated on both sides for UV ink adhesion and with 99% opacity for double-sided printing.
The second is Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled Frontlit Greyback banner featuring a matt white primed surface and a grey opaque backing. This option contains a minimum of 95% recycled plastic.
Collins comments: “We are excited to be offering our customers a sustainable and environmentally friendly range of banners with superb print quality.
“The new additions will be dove-tailed into the existing banner portfolio, and at Antalis, we can provide samples and a new Easy Reference Guide to support customer selection of banner materials from our growing portfolio.”
