Epson has announced a new 76-inch industrial dye-sublimation printer with an optional Jumbo Roll which has been made for high demand textile production.

The new SureColor SC-F11000 and SC-F11000H models are designed for applications in fashion, sportswear, home furnishings, and soft signage with high productivity, speed, quality, and reliability being its core selling points.

The printer has been launched following the success of the SureColor F1000 and F1000H textile models launched in 2020.

The SC-F11000H has been designed for maximum up-time thanks to the optional Jumbo Roll which enables continuous production and reduced downtime thanks to the printer needing less frequent media changes.

As a part of its focus on quality and consistency, the printer is manufactured with Epson printheads, ink, and Epson EdgePrint Pro software, which is consistent with much of Epson’s manufacturing process.

Phil McMullin, head of sales for Commercial & Industrial at Epson UK, says: “In the dye-sublimation sector, customers demand fast turnaround times, consistent performance, high-quality output, and reliability.

“With these requirements in mind, we’ve developed an industrial-level dye-sublimation printer that, we believe, sets new standards. The SC-F11000 offers the highest throughput of all Epson LFPs and is equipped with four PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads and a ‘hot swap’ bulk ink solution that’s designed to keep businesses running.”

The new printer features a CMYK ink configuration and includes the addition of one of three ink sets: orange and violet, fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink, or light cyan and light magenta.

McMullin concludes: “Our heritage is built on innovation, and this is one of those moments in which we’re raising the benchmark for productivity in dye-sublimation.”
