Announced on the first day of FESPA Global Print Expo, Agfa has launched three new machines and revealed refreshed branding.

Utilising the tagline ‘Powerful by Nature’, the manufacturer’s portfolio has been given a fresh identity through the names of “formidable animals” reflecting each machine’s strengths.

Launching at FESPA Global Print Expo 2024 and making global debuts are three new inkjet machines: the Jeti Condor RTR5200 HS, the Jeti Bronco H3300 S, and the Anapurna Ciervo H3200.

The first of the three is a roll-to-roll inkjet printer with a 5.2m wingspan, speeds of up to 672sq m/h, and can handle a range of flexible substrates up to three rolls simultaneously.

This machine is manufactured by EFI but packaged by Agfa following a commercial agreement designed to expand both company’s respective portfolios for customers. EFI will offer Agfa’s hybrid inkjet printers such as the Tauro range to its customers.

Second, the Jeti Bronco H3300 S is a 3.3m high-end UV LED inkjet printer that builds on the Tauro’s hardware and software. This model features continuous board feeding for enhanced productivity efficiency.

Completing the trio of global launches, the Anapurna Ciervo H3200 is the latest in the Anapurna range’s 29-year history. The 3.2m hybrid model offers enhanced print quality and higher productivity than its predecessor – including an almost 70% increase in printing speeds in Production Mode.

In addition to the launches, Agfa is also demonstrating its Onset Grizzly demonstrating X3 HS high-speed flatbed inkjet printer offering speeds of up to 1,450sq m/hr and the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS hybrid wide-format inkjet printer.

All Agfa machines are driven by Asanti workflow software and other tools such as StoreFront and PrintTune are also being demonstrated.

“We are thrilled to unveil our transformed and enhanced inkjet printer portfolio, where proven wide-format inkjet technology meets the power of three brand-new beasts,” says Arnaud Calleja, vice-president of Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa.
