Managing director, Martyn Wright, and his son Phil Wright, who is the technical director of Brunel Engraving Company, joined forces with Martyn Wright’s future son-in-law and a close family friend to compete in a golf challenge which saw the men complete 72 holes in one day.

All four of the men have been affected by cancer in some way and wanted to do something to fight back.

Over 13 hours, the team covered nearly 18 miles and around 37,000 steps each, including climbing 12,000ft throughout the course.

It was a gruelling day and quite an undertaking, but we were all proud to complete the course. Our thanks go to everybody who has donated and helped us reach the top ten level of donations

Martyn Wright comments: “It was a gruelling day and quite an undertaking, but we were all proud to complete the course. Our thanks go to everybody who has donated and helped us reach the top ten level of donations.
