Getting hands-on with adhesives

With any business, the key to success is the ability to maintain a competitive edge and build a strong reputation through knowledge and experience. To help companies achieve this, Eurobond Adhesives has announced that it will deliver a series of adhesives training workshops.

Taking place at next year’s Sign and Digital UK exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, the training workshops will teach participants how to choose and use the correct structural adhesive and acrylic adhesive tape.

Simon Dearing, Eurobond Adhesives’ managing director, explains: “Eurobond Adhesives was founded 35 years ago on the principal of informing, educating and training its customers in the correct selection, use and safe handling of adhesives.

“This guiding principal has been borne out for more than three decades helping to build and cement our reputation as one of the leading authorities and ‘go to’ suppliers of high-performance adhesives and adhesives tapes.

It can be a costly exercise for businesses financially as well as the loss of their reputation and their integrity if they are ill-advised

The firm has always offered free on-site training for its adhesives and also provides free half-day regional training workshops.

Reflecting on the importance of training workshops such as these for both experienced and new business owners, Dearing says: “It can be a costly exercise for businesses financially as well as the loss of their reputation and their integrity if they are ill-advised about the correct bonding solution to use or they don’t seek expert help from the start.”
