In the run-up to the BAPC conference, taking place on the 17th and 18th of January, the trade body has announced a significant uptake in callers to its legal advisory helpline.

The BAPC’s Sidney Bobb is confident that the conference will improve the business prospects of its visitors, meriting its theme ‘The Best is Yet to Come’

The free, 24-hour helpline is just one of the services the BAPC provides to support print-service-providers. Statistics show a noticeable increase in calls on employment matters, meriting the new dedicated employment helpline, which runs alongside the general legal advice service. The increase also highlights the importance of the work of the BAPC, which provides specialist advice on a diverse range of issues.

The conference is designed to give print-service-providers the tools they need to not just remain competitive, but actually help them grow their businesses and prosper. As the motto states: the best is yet to come

Sidney Bobb, chairman of the BAPC, comments on the upcoming conference: “It’s a new year and there are new opportunities out there. To take advantage of the opportunities you need to not only work harder, but work smarter. To do this you need outside influence; you need ideas from other people. By coming to the conference you will be taking advantage of every opportunity available, and you will be able to see what you can actually achieve.”

The event begins on Friday night, with a welcome from comedian, magician, and mind-reader Graham P. Jolly, but really kicks off on the Saturday with the main conference, hosted by motivational speaker Stanley Jackson. The event continues throughout the day with talks from a range of key speaker speakers, including economists, print experts, and industry journalists.

Bobb continues: “The conference is designed to give print-service-providers the tools they need to not just remain competitive, but actually help them grow their businesses and prosper. As the motto states: the best is yet to come.

“We think very carefully about how the event is designed and it provides a good balance of business intelligence, networking opportunities, inspiration, and of course entertainment for the attendees. I look forward to seeing many of the members of our vibrant industry there.”
