A UK specialist in CNC routing has invested in four new printers from Quality Print Services (QPS), as part of a drive to boost its printing services and reduce turnaround times for its customers.

Located in Hinckley, Leicestershire, Inspire CNC manufactures a diverse range of products, diversifying in recent years from a focus on novelty vintage street signs to also deliver a range of printing services.

To support its initial move into printing, Inspire CNC purchased two ColorJet Verve Mini LED UV printers from QPS in mid-2023.

Following a successful two years of operation, the company recently made the decision to return to QPS for a further four machines, purchased to significantly bolster its production setup.

The company doubled its ColorJet Verve Mini count to four, taking delivery of an additional two machines this summer.

A high-resolution small-format LED UV curing flatbed printer, the ColorJet Verve Mini can print on substrates up to 100mm thick on a bed measuring 1,050mm x 1,650mm, making it suitable for work such as promotional products, name plates, acrylic signs, metal and glass plaques, and safety signage.

Alongside this, Inspire CNC purchased a new Q Series QUV-60 UV direct-to-film (DTF) printer, designed to provide users with a solution for hard and soft surface decoration. Applications of the press include printed phone cases, ceramics, plastic water bottles, key rings, and USB sticks.

Rounding up the purchases, the company also took on a new Q Series DTF printer to further widen potential applications.

Andy Whotton, company director at Inspire CNC, says: “This investment has allowed us to boost production speed and capacity, ensuring we can complete more work in less time, without having to compromise on quality.”

“This forms part of our ongoing commitment to growth and efficiency. The new UV-DTF and DTF models have enabled us to broaden our product range and offer new finishes and materials, helping us meet a wider variety of customer needs.”
