Patryk Wojciechowski has been appointed as the new head of technical innovation for Astra Group, tasked with identifying new signage technologies

Astra Group has announced the appointment of Patryk Wojciechowski as its new head of technical innovation.
The appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires and promotions for the Manchester headquartered business. This includes the hire of David Mulligan in April to the role of managing director of its Signage and Digital division.
In his new role, Wojciechowski will be responsible for identifying emerging technologies, collaborating with clients, and spearheading the development of new digital signage solutions.
He will also provide leadership and guidance to Astra Group’s team of software developers and support engineers, as the business increases its UK and international footprint.
Wojciechowski enters the role with over ten years of experience in software development, having led the development and launch of a number of B2B and B2C platforms prior to joining Astra Group.
Speaking of the appointment, managing director of Astra Group’s Technical and Services division, Chelsea Fothergill, says: “Patryk’s passion for designing and building innovative signage products that deliver improved quality, faster software delivery, and increased reliability makes him the perfect candidate for this new role, further enhancing Astra Group’s unrivalled technical and services capability.
“It is an absolute pleasure to welcome him to the team as we look to this next phase of business growth.”
Wojciechowski adds: “Astra Group is well recognised for its commitment to continuous innovation, finding new and better ways to meet clients’ digital, traditional, and environmentally friendly signage needs.
“To have the opportunity to contribute to the business’s future success and deliver intelligent and innovative signage solutions for some of Europe’s most significant venues and public spaces is incredibly exciting. I could not be more pleased to join the team.”
Astra Group have secured a range of new contracts in recent times, including securing a contract to deliver the signage for Arnold Clark’s network of ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging hubs.
The six-figure brief includes delivering signage for over 500 chargers at 100+ EV hubs across the UK which are part of Arnold Clark’s charging network.
Other recent projects include producing a range of displays and graphics for the Co-op Live venue, delivering wide-format LED displays for Manchester City football club, and delivering signage throughout the new Aviva Studios home of the Manchester International Festival of arts.
