Inkcups launches Helix High Throw Printer
The printer has been designed to accommodate height variations while decorating cylindrical and conical products and is also well-suited to challenging items like balls and planters
CPS has released the SinoColor URP-3015 printer to the UK market, which is designed to produce cylindrical graphics on glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, and wood

Print press supplier, China Print Supplies (CPS), has announced the introduction of the SinoColor URP-3015 series UV rotary printer to the UK market.
The SinoColor URP-3015 produces full-colour, 360° graphics on materials including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, and wood. The machine is designed for businesses looking to customise cylindrical products such as cups, tumblers, bottles, and candle holders.
The new solution will be on the CPS stand at The Print Show from September 23rd to 25th at the NEC Birmingham. CPS will be presenting a wide range of its solutions at Stand S270 of the exhibition.
Speaking of the introduction of the SinoColor solution, Scott Clutton, managing director of CPS, says: "We first saw the URP-3015 during a recent trip to China and were immediately impressed.
“There's a growing demand in the UK for short-run, high-value customisation of cylindrical products, but existing options can be complex or prohibitively expensive. This machine hits the perfect sweet spot – it delivers exceptional print quality that rivals far more expensive systems, at a price point that opens up new revenue streams for businesses.”
The printer offers a full CMYK colour ink set with optional white, varnish, and primer, allowing for textured and layered effects. The URP-3015 is designed for volume printing, capable of completing and curing a single item in one to three minutes.
An angle-adjustable tooling fixture accommodates both straight-walled and tapered cylinders with heights from 8 to 30cm and diameters ranging from 5 to 15cm.
The machine is equipped with a stirring system to prevent white ink separation, designed to ensure consistent and safe operation. Operator safety and printhead protection are managed by its Triple Protection system, which features an anti-collision sensor and detectors for print objects and UV light leakage.
Speaking of the press’s other features, Clutton adds: “This printer incorporates some really advanced technology that generates incredible performance.
“It comes with between one and four industrial printheads with variable dot technology to achieve outstanding print quality and accurate colour reproduction, and it is supported by industry-leading RIP software.”
Other features include an adaptable tooling fixture, which allows operators to change from printing on standard tumblers to tapered glasses without the need for complicated changeovers.
All CPS presses, including the SinoColor URP-3015, are backed with a 12-month warranty alongside local technical support from the suppliers.
Scott concludes: “It is very important that we stand by the quality and capabilities of all of our printers, giving our customers the performance and the peace of mind they need to invest with confidence."
