Solstice AV hires new marketing director

Audiovisual solutions company, Solstice AV, has hired Louise Abbey as the company’s new marketing director, as part of wider expansion plans

Solstice AV, a distributor of professional audiovisual solutions, has announced the appointment of Louise Abbey as the company’s new marketing director.

Abbey comes to the role with more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience, having held senior positions across vendor, distributor, and reseller organisations, most recently working as a marketing director for Eve and Revvd under the Brave New World brand.

In her new role, which will be based at Solstice's Gloucestershire headquarters, Abbey will be tasked with leading the company’s overall marketing strategy, working as a key advisor to the board, and collaborating with Solstice’s vendor and reseller partners.

The appointment follows a number of recent announcements from Solstice as part of wider expansion plans. This includes the recent appointment of Chris Ball as chief finance and operating officer, as well as UK distribution partnerships with LED display manufacturer, LianTronics, and interactive technology provider, i3CONNECT.

Commenting on her appointment, Abbey says: “I’m excited to be joining such a dynamic, service-led business.
