Business services provider, Paragon, has announced the purchase of display graphics and brand activation provider, Service Graphics.

The deal was made as a share purchase agreement from family investment company, Grenadier Holdings, which has investments in both Paragon and Service Graphics.

The purchase was made in part to boost Paragon’s wide-format display and advertising services, as part of plans to expand its business services portfolio.

Aside from brand activations and display graphics solutions, Service Graphics provides a variety of print and design, mail, and software as a service (SaaS) solutions, which Paragon hopes to utilise as part of its Marketing Services business line.

Other key markets that Paragon wish to target following the acquisition include live events, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and retail.

Speaking of the acquisition, Guilhem Boucon, chief strategy officer at Paragon, says: “This is a fantastic opportunity to expand our capabilities in key verticals like sports and events, while strengthening our position in core markets such as FMCG and retail.

“Integrating Service Graphics into our fast-growing Marketing Services business line allows us to offer these enhanced services to new and existing clients – helping them to grow and operate more efficiently.”

Mike Holyoake, group managing director at Service Graphics, adds: “This is an exceptional opportunity for Service Graphics to build on our success.

“We see significant growth opportunities through cross-selling and wider client engagement, and we are looking forward to working closely with everyone at Paragon to make this deal a success. After the recent strategy refresh and new technology investment, we are in great shape to launch our next phase of growth.”

Service Graphics has made significant investments in equipment and facilities in recent years, purchasing additional space at its facility in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire, earlier this year, as well as rolling out of a range of new Konica Minolta machinery across its sites in 2023 and 2024.

Kit installations included a new Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 and SD-513 booklet maker, which were added to Service Graphics’ lineup of print solutions at its Edinburgh branch.
