The new Mutoh XpertJet C641SR Pro, the company’s first-ever integrated print and cut machine, will be showcased on Graphtec GB’s stand at The Print Show next week.
The 24-inch (630 mm)-wide desktop printer, equipped with a Mutoh AccuFine 1600 nozzle print head, offers contour-cut and through-cut functionality. As well as its desktop functionality, it can also be equipped with a stand and an automatic roll-up device for added versatility.
The XpertJet C641SR Pro integrates a drag knife cutting head for contour and through cutting, as well as a built in grit roller. Two adjustable pressure arms can accommodate various media width ranges.
The machine is said to deliver a quality production print speed of 6.5 metres squared per hour at 600 by 900dpi. It is designed to be compact and lightweight, intended for creating signs, full-colour stickers, vehicle graphics, banners, posters, labels, heat transfers, and fine art prints.
Graphtec GB will be exhibiting a range of machines at The Print Show under the Mutoh brand. The supplier of cutting plotters, instruments, and scanners recently became the official UK distributor of Mutoh Europe’s range of wide-format printers.
As well as the C641SR Pro, Graphtec will be demonstrating a range of other printers in the XpertJet Pro series. This includes the brand-new XpertJet 1462UF A1+ flatbed printer, which includes new, extra-wide UV lamps designed to enhance multi-layer print productivity.
Speaking of the showcase of the machine at The Print Show, Mutoh product manager for Graphtec GB, Lawrence Hebron, explains: “This brand-new machine is a must-see. There won’t be anything like it at The Print Show for flexibility, versatility, and value for money. We look forward to showing it and cannot wait to see people’s reaction to it.”
