Ricoh unveils Flora X20 UV Hybrid

The printer debuted at FESPA Global Print Expo 2024 at the RAI in Amsterdam

Provider of print and imaging solutions, Ricoh, has unveiled the first compact-footprinted hybrid printer- the Flora X20 UV Hybrid.

The new hybrid solution is part of a collaboration with Flora, a brand owned by Shenzhen Runtianzhi Digital Equipment.

The Flora X20 has been made to give sign and display specialists greater flexibility and versatility in their output.

Following last year’s partnership agreement with Flora this is the first compact-footprinted hybrid printer developedΒ by the two brands which incorporates Ricoh printhead technology.

The machine also includes ColorGATE RIP software and ICC profiles with the capability to run both rigid and flexible media of up to two metres wide and 5.1cm thick. 

β€œThe X20 UV has been developed in response to market demand from sign and display specialists who are increasingly looking for flexible and versatile solutions for indoor and outdoor applications,” says Angelo Mandelli, the senior product & business development manager for Ricoh Graphic Communication’s Large Format & Flatbed EMEA Product Marketing Group.  

Features of the machine include the delivery of β€œday one” quality with three ink configurations- CMYK, CMYKWW, and CMYKWClear as well a dedicated ICC profile portal, Ricoh Colorbase.

Mandelli adds: β€œThe X20 UV is the latest system to join our unique one stop offering that includes sheetfed, high-speed inkjet, large-format, textile, and software solutions. We look forward to further expanding our product portfolio with highly responsive and agile large-format systems that respond to emerging demands in the graphics arts, interior dΓ©cor, and industrial markets.”
