Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe has returned to Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) with a range of display solutions.
The company is a global provider of professional and commercial visual technology as well as digital signage solutions which is jointly owned by Sharp Corporation and NEC Corporation.
Sharp/NEC has a range of new releases on its stand (3E500) including its newly introduced third generation of dvLED FE Series with energy-efficient Flip Chip technology.
The series has been created for use in indoor scenarios such as conferencing, corporate signage, command and control, broadcast, higher education, and leisure.
Equipped with Flip-Chip SMD technology in order to reduce energy consumption, the FE Series has been advertised as significantly contributing to sustainability goals, while also reducing energy bills.
The company has also announced the launch of its new Sharp ePaper 13” and 25” displays as digital alternatives to paper posters which have been described as ideal for applications requiring static content with regular updates like POS promotions, menu boards, timetables, and allergen information.
Sharp/NEC has continued its sustainable focus by ensuring the products operate with zero power consumption during content playback, only drawing minimal power when updates are needed.
The ePaper displays also offer “unimpaired readability” when placed in bright environments, offering low-reflection and paper-like quality with no blue light and a wide range of viewing angles and colours.
Martin Lienau, product manager of Large Format Displays at the company, says: "We are very excited to introduce the cutting-edge ePaper technology and showcase the two innovative displays at ISE 2024. They seamlessly integrate into our Sharp/NEC product portfolio, enabling users to create sustainable messages.”
