ArtSystems has joined the ISA-UK as a commercial partner and will support the association in promoting and advocating its aims for the sign-making industry.

The International Sign Association UK (known as ISA-UK powered by BSGA), supports a diversified network of members across the UK.

Nottingham-based specialist systems distributor, ArtSystems will offer information and education days to ISA-UK members including practical help on moving businesses forward in the busy modern market.

The first in the new ‘Open Print Forum’ series of events will take place on June 28th at 10.30am at ArtSystem’s Demo Centre in Nottingham. The day will explore a number of key technologies from manufacturers such as Summa, Onyx, and Vanguard (a Durst company).

As well as this, the series will provide advice and guidance on how to choose the right technology for specific applications and tips on making investments in new kit.

The first event will kick off with an introduction into the Open Print Forum concept as well as information on how ArtSystems and ISA-UK can support print businesses when making new investments in technology.

This will be followed by a presentation titled ‘When should you look at investing in new technology?’, and insights from Vanguard, Summa, and Onyx on their different solutions.

Half an hour of lunch and networking will then be followed by a session from ArtSystems called ‘Seeing is believing’ which will look at print management, print, and print finishing.

The event will wrap up with a 30-minute Q&A session at 2.30pm.

John Draycott, marketing manager of ArtSystems, comments: “While the idea of new investment in technology to support growth is obviously attractive to print businesses, it is not quite as simple as simply buying a machine and installing it.

“There is so much more to consider when committing to investment, and we understand this can be quite tricky for businesses. Our new Open Forum Print series will help to guide print businesses during this process, allowing them to identify the best and most cost-effective solutions to drive success and future growth.”
