Make it Happen, a signage consultancy founded in 2016 as a resource for the signage and display industry, has joined FESPA UK.

As a result, the company is already planning a number of collaborations for 2023 with the trade association.

The news follows Make it Happen’s existing alliance with the International Sign Association (ISA UK) of which founder Sam Armstrong who became its president in 2021, the role she is set to hand over to David Allen shortly.

Armstrong comments: “At Make it Happen, we have delivered our Signage Bootcamp and On the Frontline training to over 3,000 delegates combined. Many of these have large-format print activites within their businesses.

“The move opens up further opportunities to learn, co-create, and develop solutions to industry challenges that ultimately benefit those working in the signage, print, and display sectors. We’re delighted to have had such a warm welcome from Suzi and the FESPA team.”

One example of a collaboration between FESPA UK and Make it Happen is the attendance of FESPA UK managing director Suzi Ward and creative coordinator Jay Burfield at one of the consultancy’s one-day Signage Bootcamps to see what FESPA members can expect.

FESPA UK will also feature details about Make it Happen’s Sustainability Bootcamp on its Responsible Print website.

Aimee Davies, Make it Happen’s sustainability consultant recently spoke with SignLink for ournewly rebranded video platform Sign7. Coming soon, the first video since the relaunch hears from Davies at one of the company’s Sustainability Bootcamps to find out what the course covers.

Ward adds: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Make it Happen to our community. The work we have been doing with our waste management accreditation sits nicely alongside their sustainability workshops.

“This means that together we can help to guide printers and sign-makers throughout the UK on how to become more responsible with their waste and choice of materials, without it costing them the earth.”
