The OOH company has used the project to bring art to the masses in the Benelux region

BlowUP media Benelux made art more accessible to the people of cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, Rotterdam, and Knokke using its digital screens.

The digital art exhibition ran in September/ October and showcased impactful “dreamy scenarios” created by contemporary artist Marcel van Luit. Originally from the Netherlands, Luit’s work appeared on some of blowUP’s most prominent digital out-of-home (DOOH) landmarks.

Locations included “The Collective” and “Frontline”, two prominent locations in the media company’s Benelux region.

Ernst Vos, chief channel off at blowUP media Group/MD Benelux, explains: “With blowUP ART we redefine the functionalities of our architectural media sites. Moving new media technology into ART & Design has a positive impact on people and public areas.”

Luit adds: “My purpose with my art is to touch as many people as possible with my work. This collaboration with blowUP media allows everyone to enjoy and access my art through somewhat of an open-air exhibition. The quality and innovative screens of blowUP media seamlessly fit with my vision. As we live in such a busy world, with many things rushing passed us, I hope my art can bring some peace and inspiration.”

In the past Luit has been commissioned to produce art for clients like Paris Hilton, Lionel Richie, and Post Malone. The artist’s work has also been showcased in locations such as Miami, Los Angeles, and Shanghai.
