Organisers of The Sign Show have announced a new feature for this yearโ€™s exhibition: the PPF Knowledge Hub, a dedicated area showcasing the fast-growing paint protection film (PPF) sector and the commercial opportunities it presents for businesses in the vehicle graphics sector.

Located near the rear of the hall, the PPF Knowledge Hub will host live demonstrations throughout the event, offering visitors the chance to see PPF application techniques up close, gain practical insights from industry experts, and learn more about the products and processes involved.

While traditionally associated with the automotive sector, PPF has emerged as an attractive opportunity for vehicle graphics specialists looking to diversify their services. As demand grows for vehicle protection solutions, more businesses are expanding into the market, adding PPF alongside vehicle wrapping and graphics to generate new revenue streams and strengthen their offering.

Supporting the feature will be Avery Dennison, a well-known manufacturer of PPF materials, along with All Print Supplies (APS), which distributes a range of Avery Dennison products in the UK, and self-adhesive interior films specialist SPACE Architectural Interior Films.

Technical specialists from the companies will be on hand throughout the show to answer questions, discuss best practice and advise visitors on how they can successfully introduce PPF into their own businesses. Visitors will also be able to explore Avery Dennisonโ€™s wider solutions portfolio, discovering complementary products that can help them further expand their capabilities.

โ€œWeโ€™re constantly looking at ways to ensure The Sign Show delivers real value to visitors, and introducing the PPF Knowledge Hub is another example of that,โ€ says Chris Davies, event director of The Sign Show. โ€œPPF represents an exciting opportunity for vehicle graphics businesses, so we wanted to create a space where people can learn more about the technology, ask questions, and see it in action.

โ€œOur partnership with Avery Dennison, APS, and SPACE Architectural Interior Films means visitors will have access to expert knowledge throughout the show, helping them better understand both the technical aspects of PPF and the commercial opportunities it presents.โ€

Mike Rees of Avery Dennison adds: โ€œPPF continues to grow in popularity, not only among private car owners but also among vehicle graphics businesses looking to expand their services. As more companies look to diversify, itโ€™s important they have access to the right products, technical expertise, and training to help them succeed.

โ€œWorking in partnership with APS and SPACE, weโ€™re looking forward to helping visitors discover more about paint protection film and the commercial opportunities it offers. Between us, weโ€™ll be showcasing a range of products and solutions, while our experts will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions and share practical advice.โ€

Full details of the PPF Knowledge Hub, including session timings and the type of demos visitors can look forward to, will be revealed in the coming weeks. As is the case with all features across The Sign Show and co-located The Print Show, the PPF Knowledge Hub will be free to access and run each day of this yearโ€™s event.

โ€œWhether youโ€™re already active in the PPF market or simply curious about the opportunities it presents, the PPF Knowledge Hub will provide a valuable introduction to one of the industryโ€™s fastest-growing sectors,โ€ Davies adds.
