The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) has announced its Annual Networking Lunch, its first physical networking event of 2026, will take place on June 18th in Birmingham.

Members will be invited to the Marco Pierre White Restaurant at the Cube Hotel in central Birmingham for an afternoon of networking, with the IPIA expecting a mixture of attendees including printers, print buyers, suppliers, agencies, industry advocates and technology developers.

The event will kick off with informal networking at 12pm, before attendees sit down to lunch from 1pm to 4pm. The IPIA says there will be an opportunity to continue discussions beyond the formal programme at Gas Street Social bar, near to the lunch venue.

“There’s something incredibly powerful about getting the right people in the same room,” says IPIA chai Alasdair Browne, adding: “The Networking Lunch is where conversations turn into ideas, and ideas turn into action.

“We’re passionate about creating an environment where our members and the wider industry can connect openly, share knowledge, and build the kind of relationships that drive real progress.”

Peter Horwood, chair of the IPIA’s Networking and Collaboration Committee, goes on to say: “Collaboration is the key to growth in today’s print landscape, but it only happens when people connect. This event is all about encouraging connections - whether that’s between disciplines, businesses, or ways of thinking - and creating space for honest, valuable conversations.

“When you bring together the right mix of people, the opportunities are endless.”
