Newly-formed European print machinery supplier, CMYK Europe, has appointed Konrad Zawieska as its new European service manager.

CMYK Europe is the new arm of UK-based wide-format print supplier, CMYUK, replicating many of the resources, products, and services of the core brand.

The appointment of Zawieska aims to mark the group’s expansion beyond its home market, building on the success, scale, and reputation the business has established in the UK and Ireland.

Zawieska arrives to the new role with more than 20 years of wide-format technical and field service expertise. He joins from equipment supplier TALAWIN where he was senior service engineer, following previous engineering positions with Gandy Digital and Agfa.

In the last decade, Zawieska’s field-based work has taken him across Europe and further afield, including the US to Japan, giving him experience of supporting customers across a wide range of markets and environments.

In his new role, Konrad will help establish and develop CMYK Europe’s technical service division, working alongside the sales function to support machinery installations throughout the region.

His initial focus will include support for JWEI cutting and finishing systems. A central part of his brief will also be to build a strong technical team to support customers and sales activity across Europe.

Speaking of his new role, Zawieska says: “For me, this is a great opportunity and adventure CMYUK is already an industry renowned and well-established business, and now there is the chance to launch this into new territory. That is very exciting. I can bring all the experience I’ve built over the years and use it to help create something strong from the beginning.”

Jon Price, CMYUK’s group chief operations officer, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Konrad to CMYK Europe.

“He brings exactly the kind of experience we need as we build our European service infrastructure on the same principles that have made the business so successful in the UK and Ireland. He understands the technologies in depth, but he also understands the bigger picture where strong service, support, and sales alignment are essential to the customer confidence and long-term growth.”

CMYUK was also recently recognised by Electronics for Imaging (EFI) as its top equipment sales partner in the EMEA region for 2025. This reflects the former’s standout performance and continued momentum in a highly competitive marketplace across the EFI portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

According to CMYUK, it has been recognised as EFI’s top revenue generating partner globally seven times and has been the most successful distribution partner in EFI’s history.

The EMEA award for 2025 also coincides with CMYUK’s 21st year as EFI’s exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland.
