Epson has launched the SureColor SC-F20000, its first dye-sublimation model equipped with eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads

Epson has announced the release of the SureColor SC-F20000, a new industrial dye-sublimation printer designed to help garment printers and other print service providers (PSPs) accelerate output while maintaining consistency.
The SC-F20000 is Epson’s first dye-sublimation model equipped with eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads, developed to deliver stable output through its printhead configuration.
The SC-F20000 is also designed to support continuous printing with large-capacity 10L ink cartridges and automatic ‘Hot Swap’ ink switching capabilities.
To help ensure predictable performance, Epson has designed the printer with a number of dust-reduction mechanisms including an intake fan and media cleaner, which can minimise dust accumulation and reduce the risk of nozzle clogging.
The SC-F20000 will be shown on Stand C75 in Hall 3 of the upcoming FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, alongside a full arsenal of Epson’s latest technologies. At the exhibition, which takes place in Barcelona from May 19th to 22nd, visitors will see the printer in a production-focused workflow and explore application samples for textile and soft signage.
Chris Davies, product manager, Commercial and Industrial Printing division, at Epson Europe, says: “FESPA is the ideal setting to show how Epson’s latest textile innovations translate into reliable, real-world production.
“With the SureColor SC-F20000, we’re giving high-volume producers a new pathway to combine speed, consistency, and robust handling, supporting everything from high-quality sportswear, fashion, and homewares to scalable textile production. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Hall 3, Stand C75 in Barcelona.”
For operations running extended jobs and heavier media, Epson will also offer an optional Jumbo Roll solution, supporting higher-capacity roll handling to suit demanding production schedules.
The SC-F20000 has been calculated to offer print speeds of up to approximately 306sq m/h in fast settings, with a minimum resolution of 600dpi.
Among the other solutions at Epson's FESPA Global Print Expo stand will be the recently launched ColorWorks CW-D3800e, a new desktop colour label printer designed to make high-quality, on-demand colour labelling more accessible to a broader range of businesses.
