The XpertJet 1641SR Pro was praised in particular for its fast speeds, with Mutoh saying the machine offers the quickest print speed for an entry-level CMYK, while judges also hailed the device’s large colour gamut.
The machine also scored an ‘excellent’ rating for skin halftone reproduction and was also commended for its automated procedures for media setup, alignment and media length tracking reduces user setup times.
“The Mutoh XpertJet 1641SR Pro is a great choice in the entry-level, eco-solvent/latex CMYK space,” Keypoint Intelligence’s director of EMEA/Asia research and lab services, David Sweetnam, says.
