The Eco Built-up Letters have been designed to offer more sustainable components that are designed for disassembly.
The range is created using fully recyclable stainless steel or aluminium shells, closed loop, 100% recycled and recyclable acrylic. The signage is backed with Foamex which contains up to 80% reclaimed postproduction waste content.
For bright illumination, Sloan Prism 24V LED modules are used with the LED layout designed to ensure the optimum number of LEDs are used. The LEDs are then mounted onto a backboard to allow for disassembly after the product has been used.
Once used, the signage can either be re-used of recycled through Applelec’s WEEE programme.
