Xante accelerates the market with new flatbed

Xante has expanded its portfolio of UV flatbed printers with the launch of the new Xante X-55, pledging to deliver faster printing speeds to the market.

Featuring a larger bed size of 50” x 55”, the Xante X-55 has double the production speed of the manufacturer’s existing UV flatbed printer products and with CMYKW, based on up to four Epson i3200 channel printheads, can print in a wide range of colours on any rigid media including wood, glass, stone, metal and acrylic.

An adjustable print head height up to 3” and resolutions up to 2880dpi means the X-55 will open up all sorts of large-format print projects to users, Xante says, while the embedded iQueue Workflow allows for the printing of dark substrates or clear material.

Customers using Xante’s iQueue Adobe PDF workflow can also produce multi-panel wall art, as well as manage spot colours, control print quality and create multi-up imposed layouts.

Xante president and chief executive Robert Ross comments: “The world of print is changing and Xante is investing in that future. “Xante's UV high density inks for the X-55 and all our UV printers are sold in economical half-litre bottles and provide incredible outdoor durability and amazing colour quality.

“The Xante X-55 is currently in full production and customer installs began in January, with the first installation being Black Warrior Printing of Tuscaloosa in Alabama.”
