BrightSign unveils updates for BSN.cloud

Digital signage media players provider BrightSign has announced a series of updates for its BSN.cloud cloud-based digital signage network management platform.

Enhancements to the solution include the streamlining of media player set-up with on-screen instructions for player activation and provisioning for any number of players simultaneously.

BSN.cloud now also includes support for BrightSign Mobile during set-up, as well as WPA/Enterprise/802.1x, multi-network port redundancy and prioritisation, streamlined single set-up for custom configurations with partner CMS and tagged VLAN support.

Improvements have also been made to player control and remote management, such as real-time reporting of player network health over the previous 24 hours, the ability to assess SD card health in real time, make real-time edits to player properties, auto-discovery and configuration of network interfaces, and automatic rollback to valid network configurations.

“In two short years, BSN.cloud has become an integral piece of the BrightSign ecosystem,” says BrightSign chief executive Jeff Hastings. “We have invested heavily in the platform to ensure we’re providing the functionality our customers need, and BSN.cloud is now more robust than ever with a host of new features.”
