Hexcite names Mulligan as group chief executive

Design, communication, brand activation, signage, display and merchandising products and services provider Hexcite Group has appointed Wes Mulligan as its new group chief executive.

Mulligan takes on the new role having led a number of businesses across retail, leisure and support services sectors during his career.

Recent years have seen him head up Danwood as chief executive, where he oversaw the turnaround and exit of the UK’s largest independent supplier of printers and photocopiers.

Mulligan also had a spell at Selecta, the vending and coffee business, where he led the integration and alignment of five businesses into one to create a £200m turnover group.

“I am very excited about the evident potential of the companies within the Hexcite Group to continue to grow and exceed the expectations of our customers through innovation, multiple offerings and excellent customer relationships,” Mulligan comments.

Marcus Moir, non-executive chairman at Hexcite, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Wes to the group. He is a proven business leader with a track record of creating and realising value for investors and I look forward to working closely with him to continue the delivery of our ambitious growth strategy.”
