PPDS inspires with Technische Unie project

Dutch wholesale giant Technische Unie recently linked up with PPDS to complete a digital overhaul of its new 450sqm interactive Experience Centre.

The project saw PPDS install more than 60 digital signage displays across the facility, which will be used for corporate events, training and sustainability awareness.

This include 46 connected Philips Q-Line UHD displays, ranging between 43” and 65” in size, with the showpiece being a vertically mounted, multi-screen display to greet visitors as they enter the venue.

Technische Unie will also benefit from Philips Q-Line’s FailOver technology, which ensures that the screens will always remain alive and active, switching automatically between primary and secondary inputs to ensure content keeps playing.

Roeland Scholten, sales director for Benelux at PPDS, comments: “We are delighted to have played such an integral role in bringing this hugely important and inspiring space to life.

“From the moment they walk in, visitors are immersed into a visually spectacular scene of activity, with each display providing not only a wow factor, but a valuable resource for information – whether that’s finding new products, ways to work smarter or to play a part in looking after our planet.”
