AM GLOBAL’s new centre takes flight

AM GLOBAL has launched a new company called The Aviation AM Centre. The business will provide end-to-end solutions for the additive manufacturing (AM) of cabin interior polymer components for the aviation industry.

The new centre will start operations in the EOS Innovation Centre and will use EOS industrial 3D printing technology.

The core customer base will be maintenance and airline organisations, with the company focusing particularly on cabin interior and original equipment manufacturers. The producers will be from across the commercial aviation industry and will help support AM.

The process which vastly reduces time and money is currently an essential and highly desired component in modern aircraft manufacturing. AM Global’s intention with the new centre is to create components that are lightweight, stronger, and far more efficient during the production process.

We are very proud to celebrate the opening of this new venture which will provide tailored solutions, efficient processes and cutting-edge technology

AM GlOBAL’s project is also supported by The German-Emirati Institute which looks to build stronger collaboration between Germany and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Bernhard Randerath, founder and chairman of the board for The Aviation AM Centre, says: “Airline operations are facing very demanding time and cost saving imperatives, especially in the current environment. We are very proud to celebrate the opening of this new venture which will provide tailored solutions, efficient processes and cutting-edge technology for airlines and other parts of the commercial aviation industry.

“Our partnership with AM GLOBAL brings together deep 3D printing technology know-how with our understanding of the market for commercial aviation and additive manufacturing, the perfect basis for a strong business.”
