Northern Flags and sister company FaberExposize UK have produced a banner which features the England flag, the football team’s three lions badge, and the words ‘It’s coming home’ and a good luck message.
In addition to supporting the football team, the banner is also believed to be the largest environmentally sustainable banner in the country.
Made from 346 recycled plastic bottles, the banner which measures in a 9m wide by 3m high, is also 100% recyclable.
Environmental sustainability is a core value of our business but we’re seeing more and more how much it means to all of our customers too. In that respect, support for green products is like support for the England football team”
The banner was printed and installed on the side of the companies’ joint premises ahead of the England v Denmark semi finals last night [07/07/21] which saw England win 2-0. The team will now play in the final of the competition on Sunday 11th July, which is the first final for England since 1966.
Ian Clasper-Cotte, managing director of Northern Flags and FaberExposize UK says: “Even as a Scot, I recognise how much it would mean to the country if England were to bring football home, so we’ve decided to show our support by printing the biggest eco friendly England banner in the country.
“Environmental sustainability is a core value of our business but we’re seeing more and more how much it means to all of our customers too. In that respect, support for green products is like support for the England football team.”
Cotte adds: “Hopefully after football comes home, England can become the home of environmental sustainability.”
