Burnley Turf Moor set for LED “digital revolution"

Turf Moor, the home ground of Burnley Football Club, is to receive a 1,100sq m LED revamp across the entire stadium.

The ground, which is based in Burnley, Lancashire has been the home of the football club for almost 140 years.

Sign integrator ADI has been designing, manufacturing, developing, and installing stadium displays for over 20 years and installed the UK football’s first LED screens in 1997. ADI will install the signage at Turf Moor.

A video on ADI’s YouTube account shows an artist impression of what the signage will look like once the installation is complete.

The video shows digital screens bordering the main entrance doorway and digital ribbon banners displaying the history of the club on the external entrance wall.

...the installation will comprise of over more than 30 different screens with content to be created and managed by the firm’s in-house production team

Inside the stadium, digital signage can be seen in the form of corner displays for replays and live match viewing, as well as digital screens lining the tiers of the audience seating.

At the exit points, more digital screens are displayed above the doorways making space for digital advertising opportunities.

According to ADI, the installation will comprise of over more than 30 different screens with content to be created and managed by the firm’s in-house production team. This will be delivered over Live Venue fibre network from ADI’s studios.
