Giant foot graphics encourage social distancing

Bristol-based large-format graphics firm, N3 Display Graphics, has supported Bristol City Council in implementing social distancing rules by producing giant feet.

Using Drytac Polar Street FX aluminium print media, N3 Display Graphics produced a series of 2m x 1.1m footprint-style graphics.

The feet were placed across high traffic areas in the city ready for the opening of non-essential shops on April 12th.
Nigel Walker of N3 Display Graphics says: “We have a long history of mutual respect with Drytac, and they always have the right products at the right price.

“After months out on the streets, the graphics are all standing up well and are helping to return to shopping safely.”

Due to being placed on the ground, N3 Display Graphics had to ensure the graphics were slip-proof and safe in any weather. Having used Drytac products for previous jobs, N3 Display Graphics identified Drytac Polar Street FX as the right solution for the job.

The Polar Street FX solution can be printed using eco-solvent, latex or UV technology and G3 opted to use two HP Latex 360 printers to produce the graphics. The feet were then created using a Zünd cutter with double edged tungsten blades,  because of its ability to cut through the tough substrate’s aluminium backing.
