Bright orange buses capture Londoners

Yorkshire-based coffee business Taylors of Harrogate has sent a fleet of big bright orange double decker buses driving around London to promote its new coffee range launch.

The campaign is the first OOH (out of home) vehicle wrap Taylors has implemented in its marketing and Kelly Wright, senior brand manager for the firm says the buses allowed the company to reach a wider audience.

The new range of coffee is described as being “designed to free UK coffee lovers from compromise and confusion” and each blend is aptly named after the drink they are designed for: Latte, Cafetiere and Espresso.

The buses feature a bright orange wrap with striking blue 3D-looking font spelling the word Latte. The words: “A coffee called ‘Latte’, for making a latte, when you want a latte,” can be seen in white on the side of the bus alongside an image of the coffee packaging.

Global is behind the vehicle wraps

OOH media firm Global is behind the vehicle wraps which form part of a multi-million-pound campaign across TV, digital, in-store marketing and outdoor posters which went live this month.

Wright says: “We wanted to launch our new range with impact and as the pack designs are so bold and bright, the format is ideal.

“They are also a great way to reach London audiences – people seem to like taking pictures of them.”
