MacroArt launches new sustainable drive

Wide-format print, graphics and visual communications specialist MacroArt has rolled out a major sustainability initiative, aimed at identifying opportunities and driving improvements to reduce the environmental impact across all areas of its business.

As part of the Macro Eco programme, MacroArt has commissioned a review of its green credentials from environmental consultancy Green Circle Solutions in an effort to enhance its operations.

With this, the Macro Eco initiative has defined a roadmap that commits MacroArt to reach peak emissions by end of 2022, and then lower its overall CO2e footprint year-on-year from this point onwards.

Michael Green, managing director at MacroArt, comments: “Our Macro Eco initiative is now central to our business and by setting measurable targets we will ensure that MacroArt and our customers are doing all they can to minimise our environmental impact for our industry.

“Sustainability is not an option for companies in this day and age – it’s a ‘must do’.”
