FastSigns celebrates franchisees’ success

FastSigns has paid tribute to the success of its franchisees during the past year in a special online edition of its annual awards.

The FastSigns Awards usually invite franchisees from across the UK to celebrate at a glamorous ceremony, but the Covid-19 pandemic meant the event had to move online this year.

However, this did not stop FastSigns living it up with its winners, as a number of honours were handed out during the virtual ceremony.

Big winners included Mark Phelps of FastSigns Kingston, who won franchisee of the year, while Murat Kalan from FastSigns Crawley was named employee of the year.

Other winners were Richard Wedgwoord of FastSigns Manchester, who was voted the most innovative franchisee of the year, while FastSigns Portsmouth won the award for project of the year.

I’m confident we’ll continue to innovate and set a shining example for the signage sector

A number of special Covid-19 awards were also handed out to those who had gone the extra step during the pandemic. Winners included Melanie Martinez, who was name as the franchisee with highest spirits through coronavirus.

Catherine Monson, FastSigns’ global chief executive, comments: “I’m always impressed by the determination of our team, and despite the challenges that have been thrown their way, there have been some incredible projects completed.

“2021 will no doubt still present some challenges for many, but with such a talented and supportive network in the UK, I’m confident we’ll continue to innovate and set a shining example for the signage sector.”
